For Amy and Ryan’s Lafayette Club wedding we traveled all the way to Minneapolis for the weekend! It was so much fun being a tourist when we live in a tourist driven city! There were so many details Amy thought of. First, she chose the date to the the same day her parents were married. Furthermore Amy choose the same priest marry her and Ryan, but she altered her mom’s wedding gown and wore it down the aisle! How cool is that?
The day started early in the morning with the girls getting their hair and makeup done by Jenny and Erin. After Amy and her girls were ready to go, Life’s Highlights was there to capture the days memories so they could be remembered forever. The bridal party was taken to the Basilica of St. Mary, where the ceremony took place. If you are ever in Minneapolis this is a must see! It is one of the most beautiful churches I have ever seen! After the ceremony the group took a ride to downtown Minneapolis on a party bus with DJ Party Bus Services. This is where they did their bridal party photos. The skyline was a perfect backdrop for their photos.
The flowers were extravagantly done by Florals by Claire. The bouquets were beautiful throughout the entire evening. Their travel themed reception looked amazing, with the chairs provided by Festivities. The music was great the entire night, thanks to Studio Veil. The guests enjoyed an amazing meal served to them by the staff at the Lafayette Club. After dinner, Thirsty Whale provided the cake, which was almost too pretty to cut. Finally, night ended with the couple dancing to “Closing Time” as their last dance at their wedding.
Amy and Ryan were a pleasure to work with, and it is obvious how in love they are. Their wedding day was perfect and beautiful and they will live happily ever after.
