Girls ask me all of the time if I cry at weddings, and I always feel a tiny bit guilty, because I never do; except on October 25, 2014 at The Courtyard at Lake Lucerne!
I remember it so clearly. I ran up the stairs at The Courtyard at Lake Lucerne to make sure Courtney was ready for her First Look photos and there she was. My friend, my buddy, dressed in her beautiful, backless lace gown, veil and that was it; I finally cried. Courtney has that kind of glow about her that makes her easy to love and a smile that is completely contagious. Her hair and makeup was perfectly done by Kristy Alonzo and her team of fabulous stylists.
Courtney and Greg are friends of mine and when they approached Nicole Squared Events to assist in coordinating their BIG DAY, there was no question. We were honored to help them. We searched for venues but The Courtyard at Lake Lucerne complimented their natural, woodsy, fairy inspired wedding.
Finding their vendors was easier than I ever imagined. Claire Pacelli Photography was a perfect fit for this couple. Their personalities just went together perfectly and Claire Pacelli’s photography style was on point to what the Bride and Groom wanted.
Puff `n Stuff Catering created a wonderful menu for their big day. Although, maybe we should have stayed clear of a chicken with a red sauce! Thank goodness for Emergency Kits with tide bleach sticks readily available. Courtney giggled as I helped clean red sauce off of her white dress! The bacon wrapped tot hors d’oeuvres were a huge hit as guests kept coming to find me to ask for more. Oh wait, that was my assistant, Sarah! I do not blame her! They were delicious!
Soundwave Entertainment provided the Ceremony and Reception music. Courtney walked down the aisle to an amazing version of “Everything she does is Magic” and I promise, there was not a dry eye in the house as the couple spoke their own personal vows.
Soundwave Entertainment was another great fit and this crowd danced! I knew Greg loved to dance and the energy was fantastic. It was everything you could have imagined from a group of people that were simply celebrating and having a good time.
