For Jennifer and Jim’s Christmas themed wedding we spent the day in Mount Dora at the Mount Dora Yacht Club. Jennifer and her maids started their day getting hair and makeup done at the Lakeside Inn by Matthew Michaels and Lindsay Good. Jim could not wait to see his bride in waiting. SO while the rest of the bridal party continued to get ready, Jennifer and Jim snuck off for a first look with Cricket at Crickets Photography. They were later joined by their bridal party and family for photos. The backdrop of the lake at Lakeside Inn was sure to set the stage for some amazing pictures. After photos it was time for the bride and groom along with their bridal party to make their way over to the Mount Dora Yacht club where there ceremony and reception would be held. All guests were transported to the Yacht club in unique style thanks to Mount Dora Trolley. Upon arrival guests were ushered By Jayden and Luis to their seats outside in front of the beautiful Lake Dora. Meanwhile Jennifer and Jim were anxiously waiting to say their “I do’s.”
Jim watched in awe as his beautiful bride was escorted down the aisle and given away to him by her father Craig. They were pronounced husband in wife by dear friend Michael in an intimate lakeside ceremony. Once the ceremony concluded guests were escorted inside the Mount Dora Yacht club for cocktail hour where reception would soon follow. Upon their entrance they were greeted by tables and décor filled with Christmas festiveness. Jennifer spared no expense when it came to making sure she had plenty of decorations to provide exactly the atmosphere she had envisioned for her Christmas themed wedding. Each table was sure to catch your eye with its own unique flair. When Cocktail hour concluded Jennifer and Jim were introduced to their family and friends for the first time as Mr. & Mrs. Jim Gansley and shared their first dance as husband and wife. Pisces Rising served a delicious meal then it was time to move on to the sweet part of the evening. No wedding is complete of course without the cake. And Jennifer and Jim were lucky enough to have their cake made with a little extra love by Jim’s mom. Not only did everyone get to enjoy the cake but there was a cookie bar overflowing with cookies all night long for guests to enjoy or pack goodie bags to take home. It was such a nice touch that added to the Christmas spirit!
The night carried on as the newlyweds and their guests danced the night away with DJ Lewis Stokes. Throughout the night guests had a choice of dancing to their favorite tunes or touring Mount Dora on a trolley ride through the town. It was so much fun seeing everything come together and ringing in the Christmas season with Jennifer and Jim. It was a night everyone is sure to remember! We wish these two many years of happiness!
